The question
What this study explores
A fine-dining restaurant sells an evening, not a meal. In this design study we explored how a website can make that evening tangible, with cinematic imagery and calm motion, while staying practical: a menu you can actually read and a reservation in a few clear steps.

Design decisions

Cinematic and restrained
Deep black, warm ivory and a sparing champagne accent, with a high-contrast serif. Images open with a filmic reveal and move subtly as you scroll.

A menu that lives
Tasting menus and à la carte in accessible tabs, fed from one structured source, so the menu can be updated each season in one go.

Reserving as an experience
A four-step reservation with clear validation, prepared for a real reservation system. In the demo, availability is simulated and labelled as such.
